Young Dancer Policies

Please respect these rules. They are important for safety and better learning: Young Dancer locations are Nut-Free. Please help us ensure the safety of all of our Dancers. Do not bring any nut products to camp such as peanuts, almonds, etc. Young Dancers reserves the right to combine or cancel classes, groups and locations, temporarily or permanently, without advance notice. Camp counsellors are subject to change without notice. Young Dancers reserves the right to cancel camp. We reserve the right change the camp. We reserve the right to change locations for classes. Refunds or credits are not provided for missed days. Do not bring valuables to class. Young Dancers is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Young Dancers is not responsible for supervising Dancers before or after the classes. Everyone at Young Dancers is expected to be respectful. At the discretion of the coach/instructor, a camper may be asked to leave the class. No one is to leave the premise, area, indoor space or outdoor space without permission. No gum will be permitted. Please make sure that your children clean up after themselves. No running in the indoor areas. Dancers will listen and stay with the coach and group at all times throughout the class. Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct Parents/Guardians agree to abide and respect all Policies and Procedures set forth by Young Dancers. Parents/Guardians recognize that Young Dancers classes operate in the safest manner by class coaches. Parents/Guardians agree that their child/children are in good physical condition to participate in dance and fitness classes and will disclose all pertinent medical information, allergies, and/or injuries. Parent/Guardians agree to partner with Young Dancers Staff to resolve behavioral issues immediately. Parents/Guardians are expected to respect all Young Dancers and families. Parents/Guardians understand that it is their responsibility to locate lost items Class Code of Conduct Dancers are expected to demonstrate respect for all Young Dancers staff and other Dancers at all times. Dancers are expected to focus, pay attention and listen to the coaches. Dancers must treat the groups, the premises, and the possessions of Young Dancers and all other Dancers with respect, care, and consideration. Dancers are expected to clean up after themselves and any mess that they create while at class. Young Dancers has a strict no bullying policy, bullying will not be tolerated.

By accepting this policy, you acknowledge and agree that it applies to all children registered in any of the Young Dancers Programs. As outlined at registration, completion and acceptance of all Young Dancers Policies are mandatory for participation.

All cancellation requests received prior to a full 30 days prior to the start of programs are subject to a full refund. All cancellation requests received as of 15 days or less are subject to $100 cancellation fee per dancer. No refunds will be made for any cancellations made less than two weeks (14 days) prior to the start of any program without special circumstances deemed to be so by Young Dancers. If written special circumstances cancellation is made to the registration office within 14 days of program starting, consideration will only be given to either switching weeks OR a program credit. No refunds will be provided once the program has started for any reason. There are no refunds given due to bad weather. Refunds or credits will not be provided for days that a dancer does not attend classes for any reason. Any changes to your registered child and program (i.e. switch to another program) are subject to a $15 fee per occurrence.
